National Sales of $1 million- plus homes rise!
The latest statistic from the National Association of REALTORS is out for February 2011. The high end sales across the nation were up 3.9% over February 2010! Million dollar-plus home sales only account for 2% of all sales nationwide but it is a great sign of continued housing recovery. In February 2011 a 25,500 square foot mansion sold in California to a Russian venture capitalist for a record $100 million beating the previous $95 million sale of Donald Trump’s property in 2008.
