Home Inspections

Posted to Jeremy Page

Home inspections are an essential tools for buyers. However, there are some things to keep in mind when having a property inspected. Inspections are to ensure the property does not have any “significant defects.” This includes issues that affect the safety and liveability to the house as well as the major systems of the home. Keep in mind that a good inspector will point out the smaller things that need to be done over time but the main goal is to find anything that could be considered a “major problem.” The typical home inspector is a “generalist” and if things are found to be potentially defective they usually recommend further evaluation by a specialist.
