Recent Survey about FSBO vs. Using a REALTOR
HomeGain.com, a leading online real estate resource, surveyed over 1,000 homeowners about how they sold their house. Of those surveyed, 83% of them said they used a realtor to sell their home. The closing rate was 50% higher for home sellers who used a realtor. Louis Cammarosano, General Manager of HomeGain said, “It is especially striking that homeowners fare significantly better in selling their homes using a REALTOR that selling on their own." Another interesting fact that this survey revealed is that 24% of For Sale By Owners ended up listing their home with a realtor.
