Have you heard that you can’t get financing for a property that needs work? Many people have been told this and let good opportunities go by because of it. There is financing available for homes that need repairs and updates. Be aware that there are not a whole lot of lenders who do the FHA 203k loans. Then there are some that are willing to try it, but this is not a loan that is easy so you need a reliable lender with lots of experience with these loans. I have contacts with someone who has been doing this type of financing for over 20 years.
