Is there really any reason to buy a house?
The Wall Street Journal published an article fighting what Time magazine has said about owning a home might not make economic sense. In his article, Brett Arends does a good job of being realistic about the advantages of home ownership. Especially now, there are great benefits to purchasing your first home or buying a more expensive house. The interest rates are at all time lows, the supply is great and the demand is lower. It might be a great time to sell your current house at a loss so you can buy a more expensive home for a great benefit. Another important reason home ownership is beneficial is because our current tax system is set up to provide tax breaks to home owners. Click here to see the article with all 10 reasons.
