Lebanon's Annual "Back to the Fifties Festival" - Sept 12 & 13
If you have ever considered visiting Boone County, but aren't sure what to do or when to visit, may I suggest Sept 12 & 13 as the perfect time? Lebanon is hosting its annual "Back to the Fifties Festival" on the downtown square. Activites begin on Friday night with music and a street dance featuring a local live band from 6-10 p.m. Saturday festivites start at 9:00 and end at 4:30. There is one of the largest classic car shows in the state, craft and food vendors, as well as local businesses (come visit us at the Carpenter Realtor booth on the east sdie of the square), an art show featuring local artists in the courthouse atrium, play area for the kids with huge jumping houses and equipment, face painting and petting zoo. The entertainment stage will hold music all day long and features "Dream, Dream, Dream", a musical group featuring the music of the Everly Brothers and the Beatles. Admission is free. Proceeds from the vendors go to grants supporting the arts in Boone County. Join the thousands of people enjoying a day focused on the "fifties"!
