Things to do in Anson

Posted to The Anson Community

Anson has miles and miles of interconnected walking and hiking trails. Residents have the opportunity to relax and enjoy spacious parks, beautiful lakes, and open spaces. Kids in particular will find immense happiness in these open spaces, as they will be able to play sports and run around in parks scattered throughout the neighborhoods. Anson is just minutes away from central Indiana’s recreational opportunities, so there is always a lot to do. Whether you are in the mood for the Indiana State Fair, the Indiana Museum of Art, the Indianapolis Zoo, or the Children’s Museum, there are many cultural opportunities that Anson residents can engage in. And if you are more sports-oriented, you can go see one of many Indiana professional sports teams, like the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis Fever, Indianapolis Indians, and others. Shopping in Anson is also easily accessible because of its proximity to central Indiana malls and shopping centers like Clay Terrace, Metropolis and Keystone at the Crossing, or you can also enjoy the quaint shopping along the brick streets of nearby Zionsville. The abundance of cultural and recreational attractions in and near Anson make it an exciting place to live and play.
